Project Shifa: kidney dialysis Donate for Ubaid’s life
About the Campaign
Ubaid, a 17 years old boy suffering from a chronic kidney disease. Ubaid is the youngest among his other 5 siblings and belongs to the family where they have to struggle a lot every day to meet up their ordinary life necessities. Ubaid used to be a hard working boy and was the only breadwinner of the family because his father doesn’t support his family. So he entered into hard professional life in early age where few years after he was diagnosed this disease. After he diagnosed this disease, his family realised that the only way to fight this disease and the only chance for him to get better is to keep having the dialysis treatment without any interruption.
As in this chronic kidney disease, patient kidney becomes unable to filter waste products from the blood and when it happens, kidneys start losing the filtering ability to purify the blood. After that dangerous level of waste may gather at one place. The blood chemical balancing ability gets out of balance by putting one’s life at risk. So, the only cure and treatment is dialysis. Dialysis is known as the treatment which provides same function to the body as the healthy kidneys does. Dialysis is required when your body needs cannot be carried out by your own kidneys.
The procedure of dialysis is quite expensive, and his family does not have any source of income to afford this treatment. So, we need your help to make Ubaid live again. The only thing that can save Ubaid from this disease is YOU!
And as someone has rightly said “No one has ever become poor by giving.
