There are 790 million people who do not have access to safe drinking water. Many of them consume tainted, perhaps fatal water. Every day, children and women are forced to walk miles on perilous terrain in order to obtain safe water. This stops children from going to school, which has a negative impact on the entire family. According to a UNICEF report from 2016, women and girls spend 200 million hours a day gathering water around the world. Through our water programs, NSKF provides disadvantaged and vulnerable communities with clean and accessible water. We donate handpump donations to enhance health and safety with fresh water.
