Billions of tons of natural resources are transformed into consumables annually and time will come when there will be nothing left. So we should think before throwing away anything which is not waste and can be converted to another product or used in another way.
Bureau for International Recycling (BIR) firstly propose Global Recycling Day in 2018 on 18th March, which emphasizes the fact that people should consider recycling or recyclable material as the seventh resource together with water, air, coal, natural gas, and minerals which play a vital role in climate change mitigation.
On this day, we should pledge to utilize our resources in the best responsible way and try to follow the people who are in lead and working to make some change.

The target points of Global Recycling Day as set by the Global Recycling Foundation are as follows:
- To well aware world leaders that recycling is also very important to consider together with other environmental issues and its urgent need of unanimous approach towards recycling.
- People around the world should think about the resource rather than the waste when it involves the goods around us because we simply don’t value the recycled products and their regeneration process they deserve.
